1.5 - How to reset your password

It happens to the best of us! This article shows you how to get back into your Tjekvik by resetting your password.

If you are having difficulty resetting your password, please do the following first:

Account access problems can arise due to various reasons, including internal network issues, expired unlock links, or missing email notifications. Addressing these issues promptly can help ensure uninterrupted access to your Tjekvik account.

  1. Go into your browser's Settings and delete cookies and cache.

  2. Then go into the browser's Password manager and delete everything saved for Tjekvik.

  3. Next, close all browser windows you have open.

NOTE: if you have any questions about your browser's cookies, cache and password management, ask your local IT for help. These are very easy to manage, but can cause problems with passwords.

If you are not receiving email notifications, ensure that your email address is correct and active. Additionally, mark Tjekvik emails as 'Not Spam' to prevent them from being filtered into spam or junk folders.

How to reset my Tjekvik password:

Open a new browser window, go to your Tjekvik login page and click Forgot Password :

2. Enter your email address and click reset your password:

3. You will now receive an email where you can click on the change my password link, you will be asked to create a new password. (If you did not get the email to change your password, have a look in your Junk/Spam folders, just in case it went in there.)

If the unlock link in the email has expired, request a new one through the Tjekvik platform and ensure you check your spam or junk folder for the updated email.

4. Your browser will open the Password Reset page. This will tell you what is needed to create a strong password.

5. When the new password is accepted, you will be redirected to the main login page again. The Password area should look like this:

6. If your login page has anything in the Password field as shown below, (e.g. **********), REMOVE this and type in your new password.

7. If you have successfully logged in with your new password, you can save this in your browser.

If you continue to experience issues, contact Tjekvik support for further assistance. Provide details about the problem and any troubleshooting steps you have already tried.
