3. Installation.
3.1 Overview and Positioning of Tjekvik 24/7 Outdoor Kiosk.
IMPORTANT: Access to the rear of the kiosk needs to be taken into account when choosing a permanent location for your kiosk. If you do not follow the Installation Guide linked below, you may not be able to access the rear of the kiosk. If that happened, you would need to remove and re-mount the kiosk in a better location.
Please consider the following points while choosing a location for your Tjekvik 24/7 Outdoor kiosk.
Position the kiosk with your customer journey in mind. Despite this being an outdoor
kiosk, we suggest that you place it under a roof or weather-protected area. This will
help your kiosk stay cool and dry, and it will give your customer a safe, convenient, and pleasant user experience.
Place under any existing CCTV camera and lighting if possible.
Placing the kiosk under a shelter-type structure will also reduce wear and the need for
cleaning and maintenance.
Please leave sufficient ventilation around the kiosk and do not cover any of the
ventilation channels. Do not build the kiosk into structures which would interfere
with ventilation.
4. Maintenance.
4.1 Daily maintenance.
A daily check of the kiosk is a good way to see that everything is in working order.
This routine will also give indications of any wear and tear.
To keep the kiosk in good working condition all foreign objects need to be removed from the locker doors on the front of the kiosk. Examples of this are snow, ice, slush, or dust. This must be done as a daily routine or more often if conditions are poor.
4.2 Cleaning of your Tjekvik Outdoor.
The Tjekvik 24/7 Outdoor Kiosk has a powder coating that prevents dirt from sticking to the kiosk's surface.
We recommend keeping the kiosk clean and keeping dust and water spray off the kiosk. For cleaning, we recommend using a cloth with clean water.
The touchscreen must only be cleaned with a dry cloth.
4.3 Quarterly maintenance.
Any irregularities must be reported to Tjekvik at [email protected]
