Before you start, check the serial number on the back of the kiosk, at the bottom:

  • For serial numbers from 44022230046-0156: follow the instructions linked HERE

  • All other serial numbers can follow the instructions below:

To manually open the lockers in your Tjekvik Outdoor kiosk, follow the steps below:

  1. Disable the alarm for your outdoor kiosk by going into the Terminal Settings in your Appointment Manager.

  2. Then, unlock the back of your kiosk using the Keypad or unique key, turn the handle and open the rear door to access the back of the lockers.

  3. Find the cable labelled "Open all Lockers" that was delivered with your unique keys. Plug this cable into the control board as shown in the video below:

  4. Once connected, press and hold the button for 5 seconds or until first buzzing sound happens to open all the lockers.

  5. When done, close all lockers, remove the "Open all Lockers" cable from the control board and close the back of the kiosk. Ensure all locker doors are closed and secured.

  6. Store the "Open all Lockers" cable in a safe place with your unique keys.

  7. When the rear door is closed, you can enable the alarm again.

If you are experiencing a power outage to the kiosk, you will need to supply power from an external source to execute the Open All Lockers function.

Additional power is supplied through a USB C cable directly to the lockerboard. This is the same type of cable that many mobile phone and laptop chargers use.

Options to supply additional power*:

  • 5V, 3A: phone charger, power bank, power from laptop USB port

  • 9V-12V, 3A: laptop charger

*You will need to check the voltage output to confirm if the additional power source will have enough voltage for your situation:

  • Green light on lockerboard = 5V, 3A needed

  • NO green light on lockerboard = 9V - 12V, 3A needed

Connecting additional power source to lockerboard:

  • Plug in one end of the USB C cable to a power source.

  • Plug the USB C end of the cable directly into the left side of the lockerboard as shown above.

See below for a clearer view of the board with labels:

  1. USB C port on lockerboard

  2. 12V power socket

  3. VGA socket

  4. Socket for "Open all lockers" cable (with button)

Now you are ready to open all lockers. (see steps above)
