How to power off and restart your Outdoor kiosk

Sometimes, your kiosk will need to be powered off and restarted. Here are some instructions in case you had any questions.

To power off your Outdoor kiosk, and then restart follow these simple instructions:

  1. Go to your Appointment Manager, then go into the Terminals area

  2. If your alarm is on, you will need to turn it off.

    This shows the alarm is ON. Click once to turn it off.

  3. Now it is RED, and the alarm is OFF:

  4. Then you will need to remove these 2 special screws to access the key hole. (the tool to remove these is included with the unique keys and other kiosk accessories)

  5. Now you can open the top door of the kiosk with the unique key. There is a rubber weatherproof seal around this door which can make it difficult to turn the key. Firmly press the door closed to make it easier to turn the key (this can be a 2-person job)

  6. When you open this door, you will need to find the UPS (Universal Power Supply) and the Circuit Breaker:

  7. Switch off the main power at the Circuit Breaker by pressing this blue switch down.

  8. Then switch off the UPS here

  9. To restart the kiosk, wait approximately 1 minute, then switch the UPS back and Circuit Breaker back on.

  10. If the kiosk does not start up, you may need to press the Start Button for 1-2 seconds on the top-left side of the PC:

If your kiosk has restarted successfully, close the top door, lock with the unique key and enable the alarm again (if it was enabled previously).
