Prior to conducting any work on the kiosk please turn the machine off and unplug the power cable at the back of the unit.
Tools required:

7mm socket with an extending reach of at least 100mm. For example:
Before opening the kiosk for the repair, check if the alarm is on.
Go to your Appointment Manager, then go into the Terminals area
If your alarm is on, you will need to turn it off.
This shows the alarm is ON. Click once to turn it off.
Now it is RED, and the alarm is OFF:
To replace the PC unit, open the door at the back of the kiosk and follow these steps:
Using the key provided, please unlock & open the rear bottom panel
On the left hand side of the Kiosk, you will see a black box with cables coming out - (This is the PC)
Make note (or take a photo) of all connections so you have a reference later. Then remove the cables that are plugged in to the PC.
Unscrew the two screws for the PC Cover.
Find the 2 thin black + red cables for Restart button & Speakers. These go into the PC through holes in the case (yellow arrows). Carefully unplug these and pull them out through the holes in the PC case. The Speaker wire in the top left corner will be re-used. The Restart cable that comes through the bottom right of the PC case will not be connected to the new PC.
Using the 7mm socket tool, unscrew the 4 nuts in the corners of the PC holding it in place. There are two on the left & two on the right.
Once all nuts are removed, the faulty PC can be removed. Save the nuts to be used later.
NOTE: Older PCs are connected to the restart button with a wire going from the PC to the back panel, near the main power switch. Newer PCs, including the PC that you have received as a replacement, have the restart button is on the PC itself.
In the photo below, you can see the new restart button is on the PC, and the older design with a separate restart button near the main power switch.
Once the faulty PC has been removed, replace with new PC and tighten nuts so PC is secure.
Reconnect the Speaker cable that feeds through a hole in the top left of the PC case and plugs in here:
The Restart cable that was coming into the PC from the bottom right corner is not needed now, so do not connect it to the new PC.
NOTE: The old PC had 8 USB ports. The new PC only has 6 USB ports, but there are 2 USB cables that do not need to be reconnected. These cables are labelled Ext. USB 1 and Ext. USB 2. Do not connect these to the new PC.
Connect all other cables to the top of the PC using your notes or photo as a reference.
When all cables have been connected, you can turn the kiosk on. If it the PC does not immediately start up, press the restart button on top of the PC.
If you have disabled your alarm, you can enable it again in the Terminals area of your Appointment Manager.
Well done! You have changed the PC in your Tjekvik indoor kiosk!
