Please follow the steps below to replace the locker springs in your indoor kiosk.

Expected time per kiosk: 20 minutes.

In case of additional questions regarding spring replacement please contact [email protected] or your local Tjekvik representative.

Provided in Replacement kit

  • 25 springs

  • Tweezers

  • Extra screws and spring holders (in case of loss)

Prerequisites

  • Key for the kiosk

  • Screwdriver (Bit: PZ1)
We recommend that you use a screwdriver with a screw gripper (See picture) as the screws are limited magnetic.

0. Unplug the power of the kiosk

1. Open and detach the door
We recommend that you take the door completely off to get more room to work on the left-side lockers.

2. Unscrew the first locker spring

3. Remove the spring holder with tweezers

4. Replace the existing spring (Silver) with the new spring (Black)

5. Add the spring holder back to the locker.

6. Fasten the screw through the eye of the spring holder.

7. Test that the locker opens, when pushing the screw downwards.

8. Repeat steps 1-7 for all 20 lockers in the kiosk

9. Put a light pressure on all lockers to test, that they do not open.

10. Document the replacement

  • Capture the Serial number of the kiosk

  • Fill out the form and confirm the replacement
