Ad-hoc checkout allows the service advisor to create an appointment within the Tjekvik appointment manager for a customer to collect a rental, loan or demonstrator vehicle.
This could also be used for taxi vouchers or any other items the service advisor would like a customer to pick up using the Tjekvik kiosks.
You can use the ad-hoc function to prepare a vehicle not already available in the Tjekvik appointment manager for a customer to collect, the customer will get an SMS/Email saying their vehicle is ready for checkout and follow the Tjekvik standard checkout flow.
To create an Ad Hoc appointment, follow the steps below:
Within the Tjekvik appointment manager, click Prepare Check Out
In the next window, choose Create new Ad Hoc Appointment...
In the next window select the Appointment Type, then enter the customer details needed: license plate, mobile telephone number, name and email
Click Continue
Select vehicle parking location in the image
Select which kiosk is to be used
Confirm customer mobile and any additional comments, then Continue
Then Continue back to Appointment Manager
The customer will receive an SMS/Email saying the vehicle is ready for collection with the vehicle registration and a unique secure checkout code.
