Please share the below network information with your dealership IT responsible to make sure that the Tjekvik service can be operated inside your local IT network (LAN) and that your employees will be able to access the Tjekvik services without friction.

In general, we recommend that you go through all 5 steps below to ensure a seamless operation. However, depending on your network restrictions, the service may be able to operate with fewer settings.

1. Install Outdoor kiosk via standard connections.

Power: 220V

Internet: LAN cable

Our suggested minimum speeds are:

  • 50 Mbps download

  • 20 Mbps upload

2: Allow communication to lockerbox (Required)

Allow access to (whitelist) this domain: https://lockerbox-api.tjekvik.com/

Needed so Tjekvik can communicate with the lockers in the kiosks.

3. Create a local email address for backing up appointments (Required)

Tjekvik delivers an email with the appointment documentation, including the customer signature, upon check-in and check-out. In that way, you will always have every appointment available in a dedicated email mailbox. Tjekvik does not hold a backup with this information, so you will need a dedicated mailbox for this.

We suggest that you create a dedicated email like [email protected] and register it in the General shop settings in the Tjekvik Dashboard

4. Setup firewall to allow Tjekvik on local IT network LAN (Required)

Allow access to:

*.tjekvik.com via port 80/443 / HTTP(S) (Tjekvik kiosk)

tjekvik.s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com via port 80/443 / HTTP(S) (Images)

Port 5938 / 443 (TeamViewer remote machine control)

The Tjekvik kiosk will update every 5 seconds, so please make sure that your local network does not block these frequent requests.

5. Whitelist Tjekvik in your email spam filter (Recommended)

Please whitelist the following email senders to avoid operational emails from Tjekvik that ends up in spam.

mail.tjekvik.com

mail.tjekvik.app

And in particular, allow emails from Tjekvik support [email protected] to pass through to your employees.

6. Install certificates in browsers if your employees cannot get access to Tjekvik (Optional)

Both *.tjekvik.com and *.tjekvik.app are using Let’s Encrypt certificates, in case of issues, we suggest going through the Chain of Trust via their
