SAFETY FIRST! ALWAYS TURN YOUR KIOSK OFF BEFORE ANY WORK IS STARTED AND UNPLUG FROM THE WALL.

Remember to disable your alarm in the Dashboard if it is enabled.

  1. Unlock the rear bottom door using the key provided with your kiosk.

  2. Unscrew the 2 screws on the PC and remove the cover. Save the screws for later.

  3. Gently unplug the Restart button cable from the board inside the PC.

  4. Unscrew the two nuts from the protective cover (below the PC). Then move the cover left and pull upwards to remove (this can be tricky). Save these nuts for later.

  5. On the right side, you will see the Power Supply. Unscrew these two nuts and take off the cover (yellow box). Save the nuts for later.

  6. Important: make note (or take photo) of the wires on the right. You will need to reconnect these with the new cable later.

When you have made note of these, loosen the 3 screws (in red circle) until you can release the 3 wires coming from the power cable.

  7. Note: If your kiosk does not have this extension unit (red box below), you can skip to step 11

If your kiosk has this extension lead (red box), follow you will need to remove it. First, unplug the plug in green circle

  8. Uncrew these two nuts and loosen the brackets to pull out the extension unit.

  9. Disassemble the plug body. There are 4 screws on back, plus 2 in the sockets.

  10. Then loosen the screws (red circles) and you can pull the cable out of the extension body:

  11. Unscrew the two Screws from the Power/Network Panel (red arrows). And unscrew the network port and USB ports (yellow circles). Save the screws for later.

  12. Pull the Power/Network panel outward (or push from the inside)

  13. When you have pulled this out completely, you are now ready to install the new power/network plate. (see below)

  14. Feed the power cable (yellow arrow above) and the PC Restart wire (green arrow above) into the kiosk, then reattach the USB ports and network port using the screws from Step 11. (green circles below)

  15. With these connected, you can screw the power/network plate onto the kiosk (red arrows)

  16. The power cable goes to the power supply. Now you can connect these three wires correctly to these connectors on the DC power supply (same wire colours as it was at Step 6)

  17. Now you can reattach the power supply cover you removed in Step 5 (yellow box)

  18. The PC Restart wires go through the PC case at the bottom right and plug in here:

  19. Closer view of how this plugs in:

  20. Refit the bottom cover plate that was removed in step 2.

  21. Re-attach the PC cover with the screws.

  22. Now you can plug your kiosk back in and switch on using the main orange power switch. If it does not start up, press the round Restart button for 1-2 seconds until you hear the PC start up.
