Before opening the back of the kiosk, make sure to turn OFF the main power by switching off the large orange switch (red box below). Then unplug the kiosk power from the wall outlet.
Then, you need to check if the alarm is on. First, go into your Appointment Manager, and then click Terminals:
And then choose the terminal (if you have more than one), and click here to turn off the alarm:
When you want to turn the alarm back on, just click this again:
How to remove the USB access from the bottom of the kiosk:
Open the back of the kiosk and unscrew the two nuts from the protective cover (below the PC). Then move the cover left and pull upwards to remove (this can be tricky). Save these nuts for later.
Remove the 4 screws holding the USB sockets in the bottom plate
On the PC, find the cables labelled Ext USB1 and Ext USB2. Pull these out of the PC.
The detached cables do not need to be removed from the kiosk. The detached ends of this cable can be moved out of the way. For example:
Replace the cover that was removed in Step 1
Close kiosk, plug in power and start kiosk.
If alarm was enabled before repair, enable this again.
